Transfer to Arenal, introduction to Costa Rican “country culture”. Sleep hotel in Arenal.

Day one of community service and interactions with a final closing communal festivity. Sleep hotel in Arenal.

Day two of community service and interactions with a final closing communal festivity. Sleep hotel in Arenal.

DAY FIVE
Transfer to Rincon de la Vieja. Hike in the National Park followed by time at local hot springs. Sleep hotel in Rincon de la Vieja.

Morning inner tubing adventure. Afternoon zipline / rappel / climbing tour. Sleep hotel in Rincon de la Vieja.

DAY seven
Morning transfer to Samara Beach and afternoon surfing / sea kayaking adventure. Sleep hotel at Samara Beach.

DAY eight
Morning beach time and souvenir shopping followed by transfer to San Jose. Sleep hotel in San Jose.

Our itineraries are evaluated based on six criteria: Accommodations, Locations, Comfort zone levels, Trip Tasks, Adventure and Service. The six criteria are rated on three different levels as per the following chart.
Please note that there are short itineraries 5–6 days and long itineraries 8–10 days, all which can be shortened or lengthened to meet your educational and financial needs.
